TEDxBuffalo Planning Committee:

The all-volunteer TEDxBuffalo planning committee puts together TEDxBuffalo’s yearly event, from start to finish, down to the last detail. Our duties range from selecting and coaching speakers … to creating the day’s schedule and running the event itself … to finding sponsors and putting together our VIP party and after-party … to sending out press releases, arranging media coverage and promoting the event via social media. Basically, our talents are varied, but together, we can put on a pretty great event.

TEDxBuffalo Day-Of Event Volunteers:

• Will attend a volunteer orientation in September 2015 (approx. one month before the event).
• Might be asked to assist with preparations in the few weeks leading up to the event.
• Will join organizers, speakers and other volunteers during a full-day dress rehearsal (date TBD).
• Will attend the event in October 2015 and assist the organizing team where necessary.

Those interested in joining the team as event volunteers will be added to a list on a first-come, first-serve basis. In August/September 2015, the organizing committee will determine how many event volunteers they need and they will contact those individuals using the list. Please note: Space is limited.
