When does TEDxBuffalo 2012 start? What’s happening when?
Registration for attendees, sponsors, and speakers starts at 8:30 a.m. Shuttles will run from the Science Hall Parking Ramp to the Montante Cultural Center.

Where can I park for TEDxBuffalo?

We’ll have shuttles running from 8:30-9:30 a.m. from the Science Hall Parking Ramp. You should be able to find parking there, and catch a ride to the Montante in pleny of time for the talks. It’s not too-too much of a walk for those who like their morning exercise, but leave yourself time.
Where do I go when I get to the Montante?
Look for signs pointing you to the registration area (to the left as you walk in), where you’ll find our volunteers waiting to give you a badge, a lanyard, a notebook, a pen, and a bag to keep your gear in during the day. You’ll also find breakfast in that room.
What’s the deal with lunch?
It’s from the very kind folks at Lloyd Taco Truck, and it’s going to be delicious. There will be a burrito wrapped up for you (chicken, beef, pork, or bean), with delicious sides. And the line should move a bit quicker this year, we promise.
I need my late-morning and afternoon coffee, too. I have a problem.
Don’t worry, you’ve got two solid breaks during the day, and we’ll have coffee in the morning, and topped off in the afternoon, by the sporting folks at Counter Culture at 448 Elmwood Ave. There’s even a little surprise in the afternoon, in case your pancreas gets nervous.
What if I need to leave at some point? How about any other questions, once I get there?
We’d prefer if those 100 people selected for TEDxBuffalo 2012 could stay for all the day’s programming. If you must go, or have any other questions or concerns, please tell one of the volunteers (in the white TEDxBuffalo shirts).
Where can I watch TEDxBuffalo if I wasn’t invited to the live event?
A few places:
- From any browser. Head to TEDxBuffalo.com while the event is running (8:20 a.m.-4:30 p.m.), and you’ll find a live camera and audio stream.
- At the UB Honors College: Stop in from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the UB Honors College, 107 Capen Hall, which is located inside the Undergraduate Library on the first floor. All are welcome and no IDs are needed.
- At CoworkBuffalo: Want to get some things done during and around the speakers? Head to CoworkBuffalo at 225 Delaware Ave., Suite 10, Buffalo (above Spot Coffee), where they’ll have a desk, Wi-Fi, coffee, and a screen for you.
